Coyote Outdoor Living is based in Dallas, Texas and specializes in designing, developing and producing high-quality outdoor kitchen equipment. Their products are under warranty as long as it is not rented or used for commercial applications. The C1EL120SM is the main focus of this article. A cover and a two-piece toolset are included with the purchase. It is one of the cheaper grills made by Coyote, but do not let that discourage you from purchasing it. It is still a very durable and exceptional grill with many features. For example, the grill offers a temperature range of 175-500° Fahrenheit and it makes sure to reach those temperatures as fast as you would like it to.
User-Friendly Features
Starting off with what is a great feature for the forgetful ones – the C1EL120SM grill comes with a built-in automatic shutoff that will turn the grill off after 60 minutes or less, depending on how you adjust it. That being said, make sure both the temperature control knob AND the timer knob is in the “OFF” position after you are done the grilling. Another neat feature is the fact that the user manual comes with grilling tips, but more about that later. The grill is easily portable, so you will not have to beat your head against a wall wondering where to place it down. All of this makes the grill user-friendly and definitely worth thinking about whether to purchase it or not.
How To Maintain Coyote Grill?
The cooking grates, the part which you will spend most of your time with, are easy to clean and removable if you wish to clean them with detergent. Make sure to use a non-abrasive cloth. Moving on to the heat control grids, it is important to mention that you must clean them before or after every use to make sure the build-up of grease can’t occur, as it could cause a grease fire. The briquettes are ceramic and the tray it rests in is made of stainless steel. They are dishwasher safe.
Material Used Wit This Grill
The cooking surface is Teflon coated, which makes sure to provide you with a nice grilling experience. Contrary to popular belief, stainless steel does need to be taken care of. It will not keep its shine on its own if you do not maintain it. If that happens, it can face surface discoloration, corrosion and, given enough time, rust. A friendly reminder – the warranty becomes void if that happens.

The C1EL120SM Coyote electric grill is a powerful grill. It is certainly not cheap, but Coyote offers grills that are several times as expensive as this one, so I consider it to be worth checking out. The Teflon coated cooking surface is also a nice bonus since you would not want to scratch your new grill during cleaning. All things considered; I recommend this product if you are going to care about it rather than neglect it. It is a strong, high-quality electric grill and worth the money.
